The goal of the programs is to provide couples with the wisdom and know-how for building a relationship of profound connection, one that greatly increases intimacy while honoring and supporting individuality. Couples will learn to create a strong, passionate, vital, and collaborative partnership that will continue to serve as a firm foundation for on-going psychological and spiritual growth.
Competent Couples® was created by Dr. Steven J. Isenberg, a Boston area licensed psychologist with over 30 years experience as a couples and marital therapist. He also has trained and consulted to thousands of people all over the world in the fields of human relationships and interpersonal skills development.
Competent Couples® is offered in two formats: as a series of week-end workshops or as a weekly course. Both formats provide participants with powerful and compassionate skills for developing vibrant, mature, and satisfying partnerships.
